Work has begun on our 2nd eco shelter!
Eco Village Project of Fresno board members are currently busy writing grants to upgrade the Dakota EcoGarden home w/ solar energy. We’ve joined Continuum of Care, a social service program that handles federal & state grants for homeless projects.
We’re also actively searching for a property, 1 to 1-1/2 acres in size, on which to build an eco village site as originally envisioned and designed by Architect Arthur Dyson. In the mean time, we’re working on making a second eco shelter prototype at the Dakota EcoGarden a reality.
To Nancy: As your childhood friend, I must tell you how impressive this project is that you and your group have taken on. It sounds really creative and a wonderful outreach to people in need of this kind of help. Bless you!
